The Festival of Design Aotearoa is about celebrating how design shapes life in New Zealand. Anchored in Whanganui, the festival will be popping up around Papaioea over labour weekend at the Convention Centre, Te Marae o Hine and Te Manawa.

In this digital game players pilot a submarine to heal ocean habitats. IPad stations will be set up in our foyer for play and feedback.

The usual responses to AI generated content is panic or shrug, but there is also a case for thoughtful, human-led work with the considered help of AI as a tool in service of the craft.
