Mid Winter Christmas at Te Manawa is your chance to get to the top of Santa’s ‘Nice’ list. Christmas carols and festive crafts await, so too does Santa himself. Tell the big guy what you’re hoping to see under the tree this December, and he’ll be sure to give the Elves a head start.
Santa does his best work when the weather is cold, and he has lots to do before December. Come to Santa’s Cave to see the man himself, and make sure you’re at the top of his ‘Nice’ list.
Santa’s Cave will be open from Friday 17 July through to Sunday 19 July, with all manner of festive fun taking place.
Low-sensory hours on Friday 10am to 12pm will ensure you get the peace and quiet you need to see the elves and write your letter to the North Pole.
Those wanting to speak with the man himself should visit Saturday or Sunday from 10am to 12pm.
There’ll be extra special guests on Saturday too, with Six to Sixty Choir performing Christmas carols at 1pm, followed by Renaissance Singers at 2pm. Christmas crafts will be available throughout the weekend so you can get a head start on cards and gift tags.
Entry to Santa’s Cave is by donation.
Thanks to our friends at Six to Sixty and Renaissance Singers for supporting their event. Learn more about their mahi here and here.
