Air Playground’s Science Night for Grown-ups gives adults their own turn to explore the newest science exhibition at Te Manawa, without needing to navigate the excited throngs of school groups, toddlers, or children who are much quicker at figuring out the interactives.

Built around the invisible force of air, Air Playground is full of hands-on experiences that let visitors test, tinker, compete, and play. Launch a paper plane, experiment with airflow, float objects in mid-air, and see how something we usually barely notice can push, lift, swirl and move.
The evening will also include science shows, pop-up science demonstrations, VR, a silent disco, food carts, and cash bar.
Please note: This is an R18 event is just for adults and attendees may be asked to show ID.
