Measles Outbreak
He mītera

Important information for visitors and groups regarding current measles outbreak.

In light of the current measles outbreak, we are checking in with all schools and early childhood centres who have upcoming bookings at Te Manawa, and anyone planning a group visit in the next while.

The well-being of our staff and visitors is of the utmost importance to us. On the morning of your visit, if you or any of your pupils or whānau helpers are showing any symptoms that may be caused by measles, such as fever, tiredness, runny nose, coughing, and sore red eyes, please postpone your trip to Te Manawa.

Contact a doctor as soon as possible to confirm a diagnosis. You can also contact Healthline on 0800 611 116 for free advice from experienced nurses.

If you’ve booked a programme or a self-lead experience, there will be no cancellation fee, and we will do everything we can to reschedule your visit.

You will find more information about protecting yourself, your colleagues, your ākonga, and their whānau at the links below.
