This summer, take a hands-on journey through the science of light, lasers and nanotechnology with Mighty Small, Mighty Bright, a new touring exhibition. You won’t believe your eyes… or will you?
Illuminate the applications of photonics, get to grips with advanced materials, and put nanotech under the microscope. These are some of the world’s most exciting scientific fields, and Mighty Small, Mighty Bright explains what they are and how they get used outside the lab.
The discoveries made in experiments at The MacDiarmid Institute and the Dodd-Walls Centre find their way to farms, city streets and even classrooms. What will they think of next?
Mighty Small Mighty Bright is a touring exhibition developed by Auckland’s MOTAT, the Dodd-Walls Centre, The MacDiarmid Institute, and Otago Museum – and supported locally by the Science Centre Trust.
Open 10am – 5pm daily. Entry is free – donations are welcome.
