Sue Cooke is a printmaker with 40 years’ experience. She is currently exhibiting her large-scale prints in A Songless Land at Te Manawa.
This two-day hands-on workshop is open to all levels, including absolute beginners. With Sue Cooke’s guidance, participants will learn relief and intaglio printing methods, will make their own printing plates, and will explore the finer qualities of printed colour and rich blacks, texture, line and papers.
Cost is $300 per person. Non-refundable (except in the case of cancellation related to Covid-19 when a full refund will be made). The enrolment can be transferred to another person.

Most materials will be provided but participants should bring: leather gardening gloves (if you have them), lunch, flat textures such as leaves, lace, textured papers, ideas and drawings if you have them.
