If you would like to volunteer at Te Manawa we would love you to come and discuss your field of expertise / areas you are passionate about. We may be able to provide a platform for you to work with and engage with our visitors. You may be a modelmaker or a puppeteer. You may be interested in exhibition construction and installation, making films, making dolls houses, running theatre and dance workshops, silver smithing, taxidermy, leatherwork, art and taonga fabrication, lace making, furniture making, mechanics, the use of victorian tools.. the possibilities are endless and limited only by your imagination. If you have any skills you would like others to enjoy and learn from then this is the place for you

You can assist in almost all areas of the Museum including education & public programmes, events and back of house. You can help us out on weekends and you can support us in looking after our historic buildings Totaranui & Awahou South School, the possibilities are endless.
