Te Manawa Museums Trust is seeking an energetic and positive marketing assistant who is ready for a challenging position in the workplace. The marketing and communications team manages the marketing output for all events and exhibitions at Te Manawa. Key responsibilities will be the development of promotional material; advertising (planning, placement and design); media liaison; brand management; updating the website and facebook, and supporting the Marketing & Communications Manager wherever possible. Data management is also a key part of the role, which includes market research coordination, visitation management, managing photographic and electronic archives, and managing a database for distribution.
Applicants should have:
- Marketing or Communications qualifications and/or relevant experience;
- Data management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Website and facebook administration skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- High level of interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
