Membership of The Science Centre Inc is for people interested in science, scientific principles and their applications, and increasing public awareness of these through contributing to a society supporting Te Manawa.
Te Manawa presents regularly changing displays in its Museum of Art, Science and History. They range from locally created displays such as Mirror Magic and Motorcycles Unleashed to block-busters such as the Da Vinci Machines.
The Science Centre Inc is registered with the Charities Commission (CC29668).
Your support for The Science Centre Inc also helps to bring special events and exhibitions to the Manawatū and encourages the development of new activities and services.
Membership benefits include:
- Invitations to Te Manawa events and celebrations
- Admission to meetings and events organised by affiliated societies - Museum Society and Te Manawa Art Society
- Admission to talks organised for affiliated societies
