Rangiwahia Environmental Arts Centre (REACT)

Rangiwahia Environmental Arts Centre Trust (REACT) is an incorporated society with Charitable status furthering the aims of Sustainable practice . This grassroots organization is based in a rural township in the far north of Manawatu and is recognized in the region for promoting environmental arts projects and educational outreach. REACT specializes in Giant Puppet making, large scale constructions, lanterns, costumes and masks that have been utilised in processions and parades, school activities and local carnivals 

Te Manawa is keen on cooperating with REACT and supports their environmental ideas. A first joint cooperation were two graffitti workshops held in the courtyard as part of their Mural and Graffiti Library project. In 2013 REACT will be involved in the celebration of International Women's Day Wahine o Te Ao running Gian Puppet's workshops for local women and leading the 8th of March Peace Parade.
