Treasured Tapa

Treasured Tapa explores art made in the Pacific with a focus on the making of tapa cloth. Students will explore the use of symbols and patterns within Pacific art. Students will be exposed to pieces of tapa and learn the process behind the making of it before imitating the methods used to create their own stylised piece to take away.
