Gel Electrophoresis

In small groups students will load a gel with a DNA and / or dye sample. The
gel will be run during the lesson. Students may keep the gel. Also included is
a discussion/presentation of how/why electrophoresis works, and what it’s
used for. If time permits, and teachers request it, a brief presentation on a
NZ example of a genetically modified organism will be given. Notes are
available for students and teachers.

This programme can be brought to your school.
