Colour My World

What meaning does colour have? How do artists choose which colour they will use in a painting? Colour My World explores the types and use of colour and how it can affect an artwork. Students will use different visual art and drama conventions to explore and develop their understanding of an artist’s use of colour. Time is spent discussing the art on display, well known art works and participating in interactive drama exercises followed by a practical art activity to explore and develop colour use.
