Love It or Hate It?
What is ‘Art’? Do I have to like it? Students will learn what to look for in art works to find meaning and gain understanding about what visual art is all about. Students will engage with the art works in current exhibitions and discuss the different elements used to create them. They will develop their thinking skills by being encouraged to question and form their own opinions about what they see; gaining insight into an artist’s craft. This is followed by a fun hands-on art experience creating their own artworks to reinforce these ideas.
